Corrections Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
DNTN! is committed to accuracy, transparency, and accountability. Despite our best efforts, errors can occasionally occur. When they do, we correct them promptly and clearly.
How We Handle Corrections
- Factual Errors: If we publish a significant factual error—incorrect names, dates, figures, or quotations—we will correct it and add a note explaining the change at the bottom of the article.
- Clarifications: If content is factually accurate but ambiguous or missing important context, we may issue a clarification rather than a correction.
- Minor Edits: Typos, grammar fixes, and formatting adjustments that don't affect meaning may be corrected without a formal note.
How to Request a Correction
If you believe we've published inaccurate information, please email us at dntn-news@proton.me.
Please include:
- The article title and URL
- A clear description of the error
- Supporting evidence or sources (if available)
We aim to acknowledge all correction requests within 2 business days.
What You'll See
When a correction is made, you'll find a note at the bottom of the article that explains what was changed and why. For example:
"Correction: A previous version of this article stated [X]. It has been corrected to [Y]."
Our Commitment
- We're a small indie publication, but we take our responsibility to our readers seriously. If we get it wrong, we'll fix it—clearly and without defensiveness.
